program includes a Harvest of the Month Curriculum, Mother Goose Time Preschool Curriculum, Dance 'N Beat Dancing,
Cosmic Kids Yoga, Sparks after school curriculum for school age kids, and activities that have been

Health and education is very important to Jen.
She uses organic as much as possible and will shop around to find the best organic
options for her day to day necessities. She is working on a farm to
table/garden to table menu full of locally grown organic fruits and vegetables. This food is fed to the children that attend. Cleaning products include Seventh Generation, Honest Company, and Dr. Bronners! The water served is Carlsbad
After obtaining her Associate Teaching certificate in Early Childhood Education at Mira Costa College in 2003, her teaching experiences have had her teaching at La Petite Academy with the 4's and at KinderCare in the toddler and 2's. She has
continued her education through the YMCA Childcare Resource Services in the Child Care Initiative Program. With these experiences and many other trainings under her belt, she is striving to provide the most up to
date methods for early childhood education, health, safety, and nutrition.
Spending time outside is very important to Miss Jen and the children that attend. Spending more than an hour in the morning and an hour in the afternoon, they do things such as gross motor play, sensory, dramatic play, science, and gardening. The garden is maintained using organic material, and recycled
material. Her goals are working towards adapting her garden to include composting, saving rain water and having an organic rich
flower, fruit and vegetable garden.
Miss Jen is dedicated in her passions. Her plans are to continue offering drop-in and as needed child care, teaching a preschool program during the week, hosting and participating in events that bring the community together with live music, food and fun for the kids, host parent's night out, provide child care for school age children that include before/after school care, offering opportunities for field trips, cooking, music, dance, art, science, technology, and math, hosting and participating in mommy meetups.
